Why industry events matter for e-commerce shipping — and what IB learned in 2025

Trade shows aren’t just about booths and banners — they’re about connections. This year, International Bridge (IB) proudly waved our flag across the country, building relationships and showcasing how our e-commerce shipping solutions help businesses reach customers where others won’t — including shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico.

From high-energy expos to strategic air cargo forums, we’ve been meeting with retailers, marketplaces, and logistics professionals to talk about small parcel shipping that’s fast, affordable, and built for growth.

📍 National Postal Forum (NPF)

April 27–30, 2025 | Indianapolis, IN

Led by our CIO, Harry Whitehouse, IB took the stage with a workshop on address validation and delivery accuracy — essential topics for businesses shipping to remote or complex addresses like APO/FPO or Puerto Rico.

Why does this matter? Because a validated address is the first step to a successful delivery, and for e-commerce brands shipping to non-continental U.S. destinations, that can make all the difference. 👉 For more on this and other topics, check out our blog section!

📍 CNS Partnership Conference

May 13–15, 2025 | Miami, FL

At CNS, IB joined conversations with global cargo leaders on smarter solutions for transporting larger shipments. It was a valuable platform for exploring how IB’s air services align with international movement and modern capacity strategies.

📍 Home Delivery World (HDW)

May 21–22, 2025 | Nashville, TN

Music City delivered — and so did our team. The IB crew was front and center, presenting IB’s Non-Con shipping service to a crowd eager to discover reliable alternatives for remote delivery.

🎥 At fairs, we showcased one of our recent videos to help attendees visualize how IB simplifies shipping to places others avoid.
👉 Watch it here — and don’t forget to like and subscribe so as to catch our future shipping insights and stories.

Key pain points we heard about on this fair:
🚫 High shipping costs
🚫 Long transit times
🚫 Limited options for Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico

IB’s answer?
Affordable shipping, fast delivery
✅ Seamless integration with retailer systems
✅ No palletizing — 20 lbs minimum through our BOS option

📍 SubSummit

May 28–30, 2025 | Dallas, TX

At SubSummit, the go-to event for direct-to-consumer subscription brands, our colleagues represented IB for the first time, in conversations focused on scaling delivery to underserved markets. It was a chance to show how Non-Con solutions empower DTC brands to serve customers outside the mainland without sacrificing speed or budget. In the conversation focused on unlocking new growth through smarter logistics, we shared how Non-Con can help subscription brands reach underserved U.S. markets with reliable small parcel shipping — no rerouting, no extra fees, just smart delivery! Just imagine what it would mean for your brand to add over 5 million new customers to your network.

📦 Next Up: Parcel Forum 2025

September 8–10 | Chicago| Booth #630

It seems we are just getting started. We’re hitting the floor as exhibitors at Parcel Forum 2025. Jointly we will explore how IB makes shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and even shipping from Non-Con to the Mainland efficient and cost-effective. From Non-Con to IB SmartAIR, we’ll be showcasing real solutions to real challenges. If you’ll be there, come find us at Booth #927. We’d love to talk shipping, innovation, and growth!
